My PoB Crafted Shield is only 18.98. That's a pretty amazing Level 8 part. O_o

I have a Mon cal with 16.98 UnREed, but thats just shockingly high.

That crafted level 9 is also going to give up about 1200 front and back protection to an REd reward shield. Which, in the end, is MUCH more important than recharge.

Which still falls 130 points shy of the REd level 8, is much heavier than a level 8 REd will be, and has an abysmal recharge. Which, although not important, is still worth noting. Really, the crafted cannot compare here.

My work in progress shield has these stats, all unREed

Armor/Hitpoints: 700.1
Reactor Drain: 1884.5
Mass: 26359
F/B: 2433.5
Recharge: 16,62

So i know what i'd rather have over a 19 recharge crafted on.

I'm sitting on 2 high 23k mass lvl 8's waiting on even one over 16 regen got 3 rewards collecting dust too

A level 8 REed shield with good components will beat this shield for every stat. The reactor drain can be below 2000, the mass under 25k (rare) but you can hit 30k easy. The HP will be in the 25xx and recharge breakes 16 easy, even 19 in this guys case (Very nice shield BTW). Also the level 9 wiht a high recharge rate that you posted has less than half the Hitpoints than a reward shield does before the RE, and Hitpoints are all that really matter in a fight.

The best recharge I've ever found on an 8 is like 17.07. 18+ is just ludicrous.

Really, tempts me to see how much we can get a PoB Shield up to then. Expermented on the Front and Back Shields, wonder what it would of been it we dumped everything in recharge.

I have one that's 18.57 post RE, so that was pretty close to yours.
