I am helping someone get their Belbullab into prime shape, and they have a flight computer with weapon overload III and weapon capacitator overload III. He has confirmed that the flight computer is loaded into the ship, but when he goes into space and goes to his abilities menu, there is nothing there under astromech... any ideas as to whats wrong?

Obvious troubleshooting question: Do they have a Droid Interface installed?

Has he fiddled with his Booster at all after loading the flight computer? Changing out that part seems to kick your computer off your ship, for no explainable reason.

yes he has, should he just unload the flight computer then load it again?

Loading it again should be sufficient. Whenever you mess with your parts, making sure your computer is loaded should always be the last thing you do before you hit "Done".

Did not know about the booster being a problem, but several times I have launched without changing my fc or DI and not had the fc loaded. Now I know why, as I frequently change boosters depending on how I set up my ships.

Yeah, I've kinda added this to my "post-maintenance/pre-flight checklist"

really sucks to get in space, hit F1 and be told you don't have it programmed
