I submitted a ticket about this too. I finished a rebel ace and then switched to Imp and am not getting any bonus xp. I think this has something to do with the repec option that was/is out there. My ticket reply is that, "this is being looked in to". And something about patience. Great!

It's tied to the badges, if you didn't get the proff badge because you still had a token respec, then it's too late. you'll have to go back and do it again after you use the respec if you want the exp bonus.

Hi all,
With relation to the XP bonus that Master Pilots get once they drop and start another squadron, I was under the impression that we should get a 100% bonus for each kill for each previous squadron we had been in. For example double XP on your second squadron, triple XP on your third squadron, quadruple XP on your fourth squadron, etc etc.
However I'm grinding my third squadron now and only getting one set of bonus xp where I should to the best of my knowledge get two sets of bonus. I ticketed it and was told "Put in a /bug report. Of course these are not replied to." Usual thing, and no remedy to my problem, literally might as well have told me "Don't care, sorry." Not that that's not also usual.
Have I got it right with the way the bonuses work or no? Any help would be appreciated.

You get an extra 100% for every faction you have mastered. Once for Freelance, once for Imperial, and once for Rebel. The best you can do is 400% XP, if you have mastered one of each.

Is confirmation from the FAQ good enough?

This isn't the case. I mastered Rebel Crimson Phoenix Squadron during the token respec period and did not get a badge for it but once the first of the patches with the bugfix for allowing master badges during respec hit live i received the badge retrospectively. So as long as you don't drop the squadron straight away you will get the badge retrospectively.

yeah but the poster dropped squad before he got the badge, that was the point of the post.

actually the poster never said that, i think you'll find, the first replyer just suggested it as possible that it was the case:-)
