Thread: Rebel Pilot: Final Mission?

I'm not complaining or anything about the Rebel pilot missions, I just want to know if for the last mission, where you have to destroy the Imperial corvette, if a group of people with the final mission all active can all kill the same corvette and still complete it, or do you all have to kill a different corvette many times over?

Corvette is out in Kessel. Everyone with the mission can kill the corvette. There is information int he pilot FAQ sticky post about the spawn locations of the corvette and all that good stuff. Basically, as a rebel/freelance and killing the imp corvette, you'll need a good number of folks to come with you and help out. Especially since gunboats are no longer sitting ducks.

but will everyone who has the mission complete it, if it is destroyed in this manner?

As long as each person gets one shot at the bridge. If someone does too much damage to it and it blows before others get a shot then they won't get it. So play fair and share.

no you dont have to damage it to get credit.
to answer his question, yes, you can have 20 people with the mission active and only have to blow up 1 corvette for everyone to complete.
to get credit, i belive you just have to be grouped with a player that destroys it and be in sensor range or at least in sector. it seems a bit bugged as i have had people who were all the way across the sector that we couldnt even pick up on radar yet complete the missiosn and ive had people who actualy helped attack the vette who didnt complete (very rare though). to be safe id say be in sensor range when its disabled and when its destroyed and you should complete the mission.

I've always been of the belief that you do not need to get a hit to complete the mission. Yes, multiple people can get credit for the death of one corvette.
I have also found that, for those occassions where a pre-Master does not complete the mission, the pilot probably did not have the mission to begin with. It requires a second conversation with the Admiral and it is rather common for a player in a rush after the 30 kills to not realize that the Admiral did not automatically assign the corvette mission.
I typically encourage the Master-candidates to take part in the assault, especially by blowing the Reactor and Bridge (after all the turrets have been cleaned off).
