Thread: Renaming Flight Computers, Please?

Would LOVE to be able to rename my FC's so I could more easily tell them apart. With 3 level 6 FC's in my dpad, it's often tough to tell which is which in the ship management menu. With frequent redeeding of ships, this gets to be a pain.

Might want to mention this in the DE forum.
My alt is a DE, and I can make the FC's with custom names, however.
Once installed in a ship, the custom name is lost.
Rebels with Astromechs can program a name and it will stick.
(My wife's R2 was named "Sparky" - found out by accidentally targetting it once instead of her X-Wing)

Huh. I never thought about naming my flight computer. It'd be like giving this PC I'm typing on a name. /shrug

I name all my harddrives, especially on machines where I have more than one.

3flight computers? Damn, I just make my life easier by just using the same one for my three ships. The best thing is that you dont even have to swap it. You can add the same flight computer to all ships at the same time. I guess the reason you have three is for different droid programs.
