ok i just got my x-wing and i really like it!

however it sure can get dizzy up there when you've been flying both y-wings for the last month and a half. i have a few questions about it

does any body know what kinda capacitor i'd take to fire 3 cert 6 weapons? i have 2 and there about the same ( .35 refire 23-25 e/s 12-1700 damage) and as it is my capacitor (817 energy 42.8 regeneration) can't handle a sustained burst for more than 10 shots) i've looked and looked an am decided that no lvl 7 or lower capacitors that are crafted have better than 42.8 regeneration without become like 20k. now i havne't attacked many tier 4's so i dont get alota higher lvl (6+) loot so i guess i could find one that way.

secondly, droid commands.. oi' where tobeggin

i've never usedem and am getting confused. i need a droid interface, a droid, and a chip just to use comands right? and what should i expect topay for astromechs, i've seen lvl 1's for 10k and 50k so idk what to expect. Also, how important is the lvl of droid?can't lvl 1 droids run tier 3 prgrams so long as i have theskill box for em? also what is the deal with the speed on the droid interface? sombody toldme lower is better (as i expected) butsomebody toldme theres a bug that makes higherspeeds go faster so im confused. also, whichcommands are the most important for a 3/3/3/2 pilot like myself?

mission and xp question:

now as i understand it tier 3 is entirely mission based, and i've done 3 of the missions and gotten 3 boxes already. so whyis there a 200kxp thing on the skills chart? i actually have enough fora box or two but obviously i can't train it.

component question:

is a 70speed~62PYR engine good formy lvl? it cost me a pretty penny and idk if it was worth it(100k)

shield: i have a 1240 f/b shield with 9.57 regen.whichI think is pretty good, but my freind saysmy regen is really low formy lvl.

Chassis pricing question:

ok i am really kinda p.o'ed about this one.i bought my y-wingundeededfor 30k and it had average stats, now i compare that to othervendors and its like 1/2. so i feel good and think i got a good deal, then my guildies say that a y-wingshould be15-20k. what gives?

ok so when it came to thelong probe i asked my guildie SW to make me one and he said he'd cut me a really good deal,60k, and i had shopped around and seen ones for 120-180k so i knew that was a good deal

finally igot my x-wing yesterday and ihad seen some for 150-200k, so when the guy agreed to sell it for 75k i was exstatic! now my guildies say they are worth 100k, but you can easily find em for 40-50k everywhere. im like "what the heck? no u can't" sure enough i go to another SW shop in the same block as the place i bought my x-wing for, and the deed is 60k.

[note all these x-wing chassies were within 4k of each other in mass, and nearly exact same hp]

so i guess what im asking is what should i pay for an A wing when i get there, and do ship wrights really have such large pricing defeicenties or am i just getting bad info?

Prices vary wildly fromserver to server, no comment on Ahazi prices from me.

You only need chips for programs you are not trained to get.

Until you have Capacitor overcharge up and running, you won't be able to fire 2 noncrafted guns for very long. Either find 3 low CPS guns, or get your cap overcharge working.

Your cap is fine, you won't see much above your charge rate until you can assemble a L10 RE, and even then that would never fit in an Xwing. Pay close attention to level 4,6,8 capacitors loots and save them for the day you get a nice high charger.

There is no bug on DIs. Lower speed numbers are better.

Your capacitor is fine, you just need to use capacitor overcharge. My X-wing has one level 8, one level 7, and one level 6 weapon and rarely runs low on charge. This is with a level 2 cap that has 38 recharge. Read the droid program thread stickied to the top of this board. It should tell you everything you need to know.

use weapon overload 3, its bugged atm so it lowers the energy per shot of your weapons rather than raising it

As for ship pricing. I am a shipwright on Lowca. Usually, you should expect to see higher prices than what your guildies are telling you. Some shipwrights are grinding and dont produce the best products, or are absurdly rich anyways. some people are also trying to get rid of their inventories real quick in a firesale. Usually, dont ever expect to pay less then 2 CPU. If you find a vendor selling chasis for 2 CPU, you should take note. I sell my grind chasis at 2 CPU, but most vendors sell in the 3-5 CPU range, so thats a good number to expect.
