Hey all,

I'm not too far away from master pilot, and am looking for feedback from Firespray owners since all I've seen about it so far is it can have 2 guns and around 210k mass and is expensive. How does it handle? Is it worth the multi-million pricetag? What are its strengths and weaknesses? How does it fair in pvp? Thanks for the info.

It really depends what faction you are, in my opnion its really only got a great use for Imperials and Rebels, Imperials mainly, the Krayt from freelance matches it evenly. But the 210k Mass is nice for Imperials, in mine i use 2guns, 1 spacebomb launcher get reactor overload 4, cap overload 3, engine 3, weapons 3, shield shunt 4, get a mediocre reactor and a decent cap and your great PVP i think its great i aint been engaged in PVP with it but i can imagine it being horrible (huge area for enemies to hit) stick with the Advanced if PVP is what ur after.

Since I built my Firespray, I haven't flown anything else since.

It takes a while to get used to the controls, but once you are used to them, and outfit the ship properly, the maneuverability is very close to that of an A Wing.

In PvP, I am undefeated in my Firespray, and yes, I've fought several A Wings too, so that's no concern, either.

Personally, I love my FireSpray!

I had 2 lvl 10 re'ed blasters in it plus 2 Spacebomb 2 launchers. Damn thing was evil.

Currently I'm grinding out my fourth ACE so it'll be a little while before I can redeed this badboy.

As an Imperial Pilot in my opinion this is the best ship you can have for PvE or PvP with the proper load-out. When I was a Nuetral ACE on the other hand I must say the Krayt was quite impressive. I flew my Krayt way more than the firespray, probably because I knew I wasn't going to hold onto Nuetral for long.

Tell the truth I find it somewhere in the middle of my wants, if I'm pvping I'll still use my dunelizard due to it's smaller profile and it is a little faster imho. If I'm out just killing ships for parts and fun, I'll take my Krayt. Namely for more firepower, and I've found with my RE level 8 engine it's just as fast. Still it comes down to what you like flying for the most part, I'm not a big fan of the Firespray due to the fact that if anyone or anything gets behind it, they have a nice big target. However a good pilot can make up for alot of it's falts.

Being am imperial pilot my oppressor only has 170k mass, which basicly enables me to use 2 lvl8-10 weapons, and a decent sheild while relying on sup-par componets and droid commands for the rest of the ship. What attracted me to the firespary at first was the 212k mass. At first i didn't like flying, it was big and bulky compared to the other imp ships i grinded in, hard to see around ect ect...But now i wouldn't fly anything else. I managed to fit 2 great weapons in it, a re'd reactor w/ 13k juice, a 2k sheild, 47.00 cap and decent rear armor. With droid commands used properly its a leathal machine!

I really am hoping these new ships comming out w/ CU are master lvl ships when it comes to mass. I'd love to see a few more people up in space in soemthing other than firesprays and oppressors.

I truly wish the Firespray performed better then it does, but sadly it has very little to offer a master pilot besides cool factor (for those that like the ships design that is). It's mediocre in most fields but has good mass potential. The big drawbacks to it are... a huge hitbox(its hard missing them), problems with using them in 3rd person because your primary section of screen is blocked by its massive backside (shifting your POV higher above your ship makes your already difficult targeting near impossible), wacky gun placement/targeting issues, only 2 guns, and not really fantastic maneuverability. And yes a good pilot with great gear can make a Firespray a deadly and nimble machine, but then again he could do the same thing in any ship. But yeah their engines sound sweet

I've sort of made it my mission to become a good KSE pilot. It's been an interesting experience. I really like the ship in terms of looks, style, and performance. The hardpoints on her are hard to get used to but once you do get some accuracy up, you can kill with great speed.

I'm still fine tuning my configuration to allow my ship to be a good general purpose craft that is good in most situations. Tweak here and there.... Still at it. In the end, it's still the ship that calls to me from my datapad and the one I'll fly 90% of the time.

This is by far my fav. ship in the game. The only changes I REALLY wanna see are;a little more mass (I mean come on, this thing is a huge target), and you should be able to walk around in it. It shouldn't be as big inside as the other POB ships, but a cargo hold/holding cells on the lower decks would be a nice touch!

I wish we played on the same server so i could contest that My guess is you probably go for a low corner velocity and try and get the other guy to fly circles around you and either gun him or lob a couple IR's up his tailpipe. I mean, its the only way i can concieve of being able to miss a target as big as a large naboo house

I know a few great pilots flying a firespray and they usually focus on superior speed (best engines and good boosters available), strong armor and shields, excelent capacitors and weapons (guns for big targets, missiles for slow one).

These may have problems against ships like X-Wings with good firepower and reasonably well maneuverability, yet they do pretty good against low mass ships too. They launch missiles at you and whenever their shields get low they boost out, presenting you their unharmed shield which soaks up shots while they outboost you and shunt their shields back up.

It can be very hard to fight against a ship like that, as you need to be equally fast in a light ship to prevent them from turning at you again and launching another salvo quickly.

As far as i know, the heavier the ship the more you need to rely on higher level RE'ed components (usually these are very rare but quite superior too) while small ships will already to nicely with low level RE'ed components.
