Thread: Newbie seeking help! Naboo Privateer Black Sun Ace mission

Okay, I am frustrated beyond all ken here.
I have begun this mission 4 times and I STILL cannot get it done. I start off fine - get rid of the Ace's escort and it's just me and him out there. He disappears and reappears further on with another escort and back to 100% in everything. I again get rid of his escort and get him down to about 50% armour and he just disappears! No waypoint indicator, no message, just "poof" gone!
I have to finish this mission to be able to get trained and even GET to the next tier.
PLEASE, someone, help me!
I am on the Eclipse server.
Race: Twi'lek
Professions: Novice Entertainer/Pilot Initiate

That definately sounds like a bug to me...I would /bug it and I bet it gets taken care of within a couple days

Seems pretty obvious you could finish if not for the flukey bug, so it shouldnt wound your pride too much to find a higher pilot to help ya take them out quickly. Sounds like a timer sort of issue, where it takes you a while, and its longer than the mission normally allows.

Is this the mission where you have to kill three or four aces and their escorts? It's a timed event so you have to use your boosters to catch up to each wave and shoot out the aces engines if you find you can't finish in time. I had a tough time getting this particular event completed until I was 2211. The upgrade in components made this a fairly simple mission to complete.
Of course, if you're talking about some other mission I don't remember than feel free to /ignore me

According to the quest text - I am just supposed to get rid of the one Ace and his escort. This is hte last of the 4 missions the Naboo RNF trainer gives you BEFORE he will train you. I cannot get to ANY tier level until I finish this.
I think I will report it as a bug and hope for the best.

I had the same issue. I used the turrent on my friends Nova. Took me about 10 seconds to take out the Ace.
