Hey folks,
Alright, I've tried this damn mission like 8 times in the last several days with the help of a master imperial, several high ranking neutral or imperial pilots and myself.
We just can't seem to do the friggen mission... The fighters are a breeze but blowing up that prison break ship (I think its a YT1300) is a pain in the ass as the ship just devestates you.
Does ANYONE have any idea how to do this mission with just a few people? Cause I'm getting sick and tired of paying SOE for me to go 2 escort missions and then a kill mission only to blow up all the time.
This is the final mission that the Grand Inquisitor gives you before you go to Kessel.
Regards,
Teff

Find a real ace pilot? Seriously, a single good ace in a lone, well configured oppressor can solo any mission in the game. You need to be using droid commands too, if you're not there's posts here that describe how to use them. Engine Overload 3, Weapon Overload 3, Weapon Capacitor Overload 3, Reactor Overload 3, and Capacitor to Shield Shunt 3 are all required. First two you have, last two. If you want to get real serious about survival make a CtSS macro, basically put the CtSS3 command in a toolbar slot and make the following macro:
Macro: shipheal
/ui action toolbarSlotXX
/pause D
/macro shipheal
XX is the position the command is in the toolbar (with F1 being 00, F12 being 11) and D is your droid interface speed, down to the decimal. Lets you take a lot more damage and get back into the fight faster. Have all imp pilots send in bomber strike on the main target, not gonna do much damage but should help distract it.

I was bugged when I did tire 4 inquisition (all my missions were "patrol 3 waypoints in Dantooine... thanks, that's it"), but against all hard targets a bomberstrike usually keeps it occupied long enough for me to take out the guns one by one with strafing runs. Just don't take too many risks - if your front shields is getting too low hit your booster, cap to shield, and gain some distance, then come back for another go afgter your shields is recharged and your droid command ready again.

Get the droid programs if you don't have them and get some more help. After the first YT you geta 2nd one after you've done the 2nd you get called upon to assist a TIE squadron to take down a cruiser and 8 to 12 fighters.
And the first mission of Inquisition is bugged, if you fly the patrol to fast the script doesn't generate the next stage of the mission. While it might be fun to get so easy through tier 4, you're missing out on some great reward equipment.

I just did this mission 2 days ago, and I did it in my tie advanced, with the help of1 master priv, in a m22 , and 2 master rebels in awings, and I thoght it was too ez. Of couse I did use my level 3 progams to get thru it. you get to disable 1 yt1300, then destroy another 2 for end of mission, so I dont think its bugged. The fist thing I did is take out the yt, i can solo em ez enough with just 1 ctss3 hit.

Once the fighters are gone, all you need is patience.
If solo:
- Bomber Strike
- Pick the nearest hyperspace point
- Start your hyperpspace calcs
- Strafe your target
- Jump
- Your target has lost aggro. Rest.
- Rinse, repeat
With many friends, send Bomber Strike, send in your friends, and succeed.
This is not the real Tier4 exit mission. The REAL one has you circle a waypoint for five minute and shoot down pirates, face waves of fighters, dock with a shuttle, then take out a Tier4 gunboat and ten escorts. This mission is the easy mission that comes before that. It should really be mission 4.3.
(Am I the only one who did that danged Gunboat mission? Solo?)

Drop me a line if you see me online on Bria (do /addfriend bria.malrath) usually around 21:00 to 23:00 GMT- I have an Imp Ace on Intrepid called Mirodo and I'd be happy to help. I'm not on Intrepid often these days as it always seems deserted so Bria is the best place to contact me. As the above poster mentions, get droid progs, you can solo the mission in a well equipped TA with all the droid progs and straffing runs on the YT with cap 2 shield shunt.

Several of these commands you list here aren't available for Imperials. Is there a way to get them or are they just for privateers?

Unprogrammed Droid Memory Modules (or something like that, we call them "chips") can be programmed by you with your pilot profession's droid programs and then traded to another who can then program a flight computer or droid with them (destroying them in the process).
