Thread: Question on imperial space stations

What are they there for? Can I land in them go inside and walk around? I fly by but all I ever do is bump the station.

No, you can declare at those stations.
target them and /comm it.
YOu're then overt and can attack Rebel overts or get attacked, so you should only do that when you want to PvP. Theres a special Imperial Station in Endor (POI Imperial Claw Station) which won't let you declare but is your gate to Kessel and Deep Space.

In addition to being able to PVP you will also earn Faction Points for your NPC kills (only by killing enemy faction members of course). In Kessel for example, an NPC B-Wing is worth around 50+ FP. A rebel gunboat is worth 192 FP.
Also as a side note, you will not be able to enter Deep Space until you are an Ace pilot with at least 30k Pilot Prestige points.
