Thread: Yavin deliver bad news how many waves of fighters?

I have an alt who is a 1 1 1 1 Imp pilot Inquisitor. I want to be able to land at the emperor's retreat to run missions. So I did the first part of the rescue, then I hyper out to yavin. I get wave after wave after wave (etc.) of reb ships with no end in sight. Also, I tried to blow them off and just dock with the tie interceptor but I couldn't even target it. Do I have to kill all the reb ships before I can dock with the interceptor? If so, how many waves are there? Lastly, after this mission, is there another one to land at the emperor's retreat?

The best thing to do is disable the ships as fast as you can, then go and dock with the interceptor, be sure you fly into the way point to spawn him, and if more ships come while your docking, you should have enough shields/armor to survive till the docking completes.

thanks! Is there another mission after this one, or can I then land at the retreat?
