I soloed it yesterday, but it is very tough and took a few goes. One thing i would say is when there are fighters, just disable them as this seems to lower the spawn rate. Go for the ties first as these are quick fodder then the shielded enemies. The first piece just kill the inquisitor and ignore his guard. Between each stage of the mission use iff scramble and boost to get away from any stragglers. The hardest part is taking down the spy, disable his reactor, use medium shield enhance front and take it out as quickly as possible while travelling towards him at half speed. Once you reach him or he breaks your front shields, iff if you can and boost to get away, get about 700m away and stop to recharge your shields. If you took out the reactor on the first run target weapon 0, once that is disabled it will automatically target weapon 1, you can easily take both in one run and then just dock with him. The final part, completely ignore the fighters, dock with freighter, once docked use iff if you can, then just hyperspace jump to the first dantooine entry point, land at the rebel base and bobs your uncle. If you dont have a longprobe (i did this in a plain y-wing) get the x-wing cert before the equipment cert. Just having 2 guns will make a bigger difference.
