I thought I would let anyone interested know that if you are having the fun of grinding all 9 pilot professions, before you surrender your master pilot box, to remove everything from your ships. It will not even let you manage a ship to remove your components if your not qualified and you cant re-deed it with components in the ship

This happened to a friend of mine and I dont want it to happen to anyone else.

WOW!

You'd think there would be some kind of warning for the masses that are to busy playing the game rather then reading the forums.

I hope your friend can get a CSR to help him redeed his ships or is he out of Luck?

Apparently its deliberate there are a few posts on this if you look round, it allows you to use much better level ship/equipment as soon as you get the certificate! For the ship,
But I would gess your right if you want to re deed your not going to have a happy time!

Yeah I would suggest to everyone that they not only remove the parts, but remove the parts and redeed all your ships before you change pilot professions and store them in your house. Store all your parts in a backpack labeled for whatever level it is. Even better, save up on RE'd parts and save a whole 'ship' worth of parts for each level. Then when you go to grind a new prof at ever tier you will have a ready made dump of the best parts to throw in your ship.

Study this a minimum of TWICE in it's entirety BEFORE you post
Bringing the squabbling Forums together in their hatred for flamed posts, one flame at a time
"Empire had the better ending, I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett it ends on such a down note, I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of muppets."

Yep I did that too when I surrendered Imp Pilot. I ended up having to destroy all my ships. Shame, I had some good parts in them too.
