Ok this may sound stupid but im a privateer pilot flying for the smuggler alliance, and i am currently taking missions out of mos eisley Tattoine. Well atm lag for me is bad there so can i take missions from somewhere else and where?

Smuggler Alliance missions must be taken out of Mos Eisley until you advance to tier 3, then if memory serves me right you go to Jabba's Palace to get missions. The other Privateer squadrons are out of Coronet and Theed, so they probably will only be worse if you are fighting lag. If you are not set on being a Privateer you can try some of the Rebel or Imp squardons, some start in cities that have very few players in them. Good luck.

Smuggler Alliance tier 4 are out of the cantina in Trade Outpost on Dathomir, and the Master Missions are out of the hotel in Doaba Guerfel on Corellia.
