0: Bow
1:Port Topside
2:Keelside Centerline Aft
3: Starboard Topside
umm... not positive about port/starboard on topside turrets.

heh...technically i dont think they're called baffles if there isnt any wake to, you know, baffle the sensors =)
True. I was going more the location in relation to the ship andfor how it becomes the best place to attack it. I probably could have used on its six as a better terminology in this case ![]()
For those who may not know to what I have refered tohere it is.
Baffles-nautical term
An area from 170 degrees to 190 degrees where the screw noise is so great that the sonar can't see any target in that area. Best place for a sub to attack a lone destroyer (this can actually be any propeller driven craft)
Six- aerospace term
This refers to the position directly behind a fighter. Think of the fighter on a clock face with the 12:00 position being directly in front and the 6:00 position directly behind.
