He send you to destroy Nym's ships if your actually doing corsec tier 2 mission 2. Search for 5 nym ship around lok. dont see any try another location. kill 5 all done. If its the first that one has a way point for a certain nym ship that you have to dock with. disable its engines and dock mission done. hope that helps

okay, i've been trying to do this mission for a while now.. i get the mission... i've both travelled to lok and hyperdrived to lok... and i still don't get a waypoint.. i don't get anything.. i just fly around aimlessly, it's okay though, since i've gotten about 187K of XP... but, i really want to finish this one mission... is it a bug then because i don't get a waypoint? and should i hyperspace or travel? thanks..

I am having the same problem. I am supposed to destroy Nym's ships in the Lok system. No waypoint is ever given...I have tried four times. Am I supposed to fly around aimlessly until I find them? I have never seen one of Nym's ships. Is one sector of Lok better than the others?

Please help!

bosmer, after i posted that, i got them to show up.. they're like random spawns with no waypoints.. all i did was jump from area to area within lok until i saw some.. i flew up to them and blasted away.. they keep spawning so you can kill them to your hearts delight.. hope this helps you some..

I'm on my Corsec Tier Two missions too, and I'm on one where I have to travel to Lok and inspect a "Nym's Cannon Ship" for shipment details or something. I hyper to Lok, go to the wp (its in teh middle of an asteriod field with broken ties) but theres nothing within 1.5k. I try /target Nym's Cannon, nothing. Theres a Nym's Gunboat near by, and I get nothing on inspect, and theres no way I could take it myself. The Rikh guy won't train me until I've finished this mission, so I'm stuck. I've sent /bugs, but is there anything that I could do? Anyone know if I'm looking for a ship with a different name? Maybe someone could have destroyed it? Its really frustrating...

i had the same problem a while ago....I think the mission only asks you to destroy a nym ship...so hyper to LOK..then use the ctrl+Y to cycle through targets (using the tab won't show them)...when you find any nym ships go for the kill...you'll get a message telling you that you have to kill 4-5 more..again ctrl+Y till you get the mission complete message...

you should find many nym ships within 3k of LOK station

To the last poster with the ships that hyper out on you. Get there fast as you can is obvious. Do you have 60+speed engine yet? If not, get one on bazaar or from vendor. Boost with over 40 recharge? Those help a lot here. (I actually found a 71 engine on the bazaar before I did this mission)

Come in with transport's reactor specifically targetted, get within range and throttle down completely (End on the keyboard) blasting wtih everything you've got when in range. This mission took me a few tries as well and I never got a wp closer than 9k upon entering space.

To the person stuck with no ships, sounds like Nym's Cannon ship mission to me. They can be rare, but that's the ship you want to find, disable, inspect and dock with...and I think kill afterwards.

Here's what I got...

Corsec Privateer...mission 2:

Destroy a Jabba Transport in the Dantooine system.

I hyper to Dant, it says they are close to their jump point, I must hurry...I get the waypoint and head there (boosting a few times along the way). I get to them - within 400m - and the hyper away.

Now, I've tried different hyper points inside Dant.

I've tried shooting at one of the guard ships (there's about 4 of them).

I've tried shooting at the transport ship.

I've tried NOT shooting at all.

Nothing seems to make them NOT hyperspace.

I am going to see if I can get a friend group with me, and have him start attacking the enemy when I get to about 1km away (close enough I can join in).

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

My engine has a 62 top speed rating.

My booster has a 37 recharge, and a 34 speed rating.

Standard flying full throttle I do 591, at full boost, I do 914 (could be a bit more).

My closest waypoint to the fleet was about 4.5km - I got there in 2 boosts....less than 2 minutes...and it STILL hyper'd on me. I didn't even get off a shot (was trying to do the inspect that time).

I seriously think there's a bug, where I get within 400m and it hypers.

Nym's Cannon Mission

I tried this loads of times .. I even spent two 2-3 hours sessions looking for it with varied results. The only constant was my growing frustration at not finishing it.

Sometimes I couldn't find it, other times I found, disabled and retrieved what it said was the correct shipment orders.

Each time I went back to the trainer I said I had the orders or that I'd lost them or lied about having them.

Nothing seemed to complete the mission.

Today I still had the mission in my data pad, so I aborted it, went back to the trainer and said "No" when asked if I had the documents. Then I got the mission again.

Upon arriving at the waypoint I found the ship, disabled it and docked within minutes. To my surprise I got the mission complete.

Now saying "No" may have been a coincidence, but it may be worth a try if you too are struggling to complete this mission.
