Thread: ROTW Ship Decay,should I worry?

I have the Actis, the Vaksai, and the B-22. I fly these ships quite often doing loot runs/ISD runs and PVP and what not.


Now, I know you can purchase B-22's so I'm not worried about it's decay. But what about the Actis and Vak?


If it decays down to 10 HP will it effect it's YPR? I try to repair in DS whenever possible.



When I'm overt I tell people not to shoot me but they never listen.

Having 10 HP won't affect anything but how quickly you die once your shields and armor are all shot up. At that point, with 10 HP, you'll die if you cut yourself shaving.. but up till then, there'd be no difference between your ship with 10 HP and one with 10,000.

It won't affect YPRs and it won't decay below 10. Just don't expect to take as much damage w/o blowing up sooner.

Cool. IMO, if I get to the point where I'm relying on my chassis to save my butt, I might as well be blown up anyways.

Actually there are plenty of times my hull has saved my ass. Nothing like having your IFF scramble fail as a tier 2.75 pilot with no less than 3 tier 4-5 aggressors on your tail, only to get within comm range of the station, and then healing a second before they could have blown you up. But yeah, if you're quite a distance away, you're debris either way.

Chassis can make a difference if you are still a low teir pilot. Once you are a master pilot against groups of T5s their guns cut through a chassis much faster than a T1 fighter and it makes little difference.
