i just looted a level 10 weapon with 46.7 energy shot, this is much higher than many of the other weapons I have looted in the past , my question is what exactly does this mean? How does it effect my weapon?

I do plan to save this for a RE weapon but I am not sure how energy shot impacts the overall weapon.

That's the amount of capacitor energy used every time the weapon shoots. The lower that number, the more times you can shoot before bleeding your capacitor dry.

For L10s, the closer (or preferably lower) you can get to around 30.0, the better. L10s are the hardest blasters to get right on an RE, and most people get frustrated and just waste them when they get a total of ten because they figure it's not worth the extra time.

Also, only the best value for each stat is used in the RE process. Go take a look at it sometime.
