Thread: Imperial inquisition last mission on tier three.

Having a major problem on the fourth part of this mission. The mission is to take out a rebel gunboat tier 3, and six or so tier 3 xwings. I have no problems with thethree missionsbefore this but I cannot take out the gun boat. Ive tried getting in the blind spot, doing a sort of joust with it, missles etc but I get blown out of the sky everytime. The boat just tears through my shields in no time. I think I have a pretty decent ship, I have a heavy tie loaded with the best stuff I could find/buy and I want to throw my keyboard across the room every time that dern boat takes me out.
I guess I just have to get some help and not sure if this is the proper place to ask for it, but I will. I am usually on mornings at server up or earlier depending if they went down or not, and I play on chilastra. I would appreciate any help since I am not guilded. Just back a little while now from a leave of absence.

If it's a rebel gunboat (the sort of hmmm winged looking one) you can get underneath and and take it out without it ever firing a shot, rebel gunboats are 100% undefended on their underside... they may have two turrets down there but they can't actually FIRE down there... basically if you get under it and as it moves ahead kind of dolphin swim behind it.. follow till you almost break the horizontal plane it's on then accelerate forward and down to get back under it and then slowly rise back up behind it as it moves off all the time trying to disable it's engine or reactor, once one of those is gone you just stay under it firing till it's gone. I highly reccoment first taking out hte escort ships =P as they don't exactly sit around and watch you doing this.

also assuming you have 2333 ( I hope so if you are using a heavy tie the 3xxx box would have been worthless) try calling your bomber strike in on it to lend a hand.
