I bought one and got the Exotic ships box and enabled RotW and still it tells me I need the badge when I try to generate the ship? Where do you go to get the badge for the Greivous fighter?

You did this by entering the code on the cd-box/manual in the launchpad with the register expansion option?

The DDL doesn't come with a registration code but registers automatically, so you don't have to worry about that. I assume you got billed immediately, got the download and are now able to go to Kashyyyk?
Normally it works when you have 5 badges or more. Maybe 1 of them needs to be a RotW badge. Did you already visit Kashyyyk? Just landing there will give you a badge.

When someone told me I needed to have 5 badges earlier, I had 6 but not the one that says "...has acquired 5 badges"
So I jumped to Tat and picked up some of those real fast..... got to the Badge Collector 10 badges, but still doesn't show the 5 Badges one....
Also, this account was opened on June 11th, and since then I have Mastered Pistoleer and Smuggler but did not get the badge for either of those profs. I still have the token respec to use, but didn't think this new account would qualify for the "old" respec.... so wondering why I am not getting Profession mastery badges either? 
(PS it was an old Collectors Edition game I bought that was still on the shelves of a local game store, as they were out of the Total Experience packs I was looking for at the time and the guy threw in a JTL he had in the back room so I was able to fly without getting the RotW until today)
The Greivous ship I bought off a vendor a few days ago, since I thought I would be able to fly it once I got 4333 pilot.

You loot it from a Boss down in one of the dungeons on Kashyyyk. The caves, I think...? But yeah, as far as I know the only prereq was being able to pilot tier4 chassis...

My lvl 1 char with only one RotW badge (the one you get when you land in Kachiro) gan fly the ship with no problems.
he does have the "have earned 5 badges" badge, with 2 location badges and 5 profession badges, and thats about it.
All I did was buy the deed and it worked without any problems. (well obviously 4xxx pilot is needed)
