If you thought BS spawns were overworked before, i dont think any of us have seen anything yet.
A couple smuggler components drop in space
I can already see cut throat Kill stealing hate fest this has the potential to become since static spawns are somewhat limited.
EDIT: i sugget reading the very first post in the linked thread entirely so you understand the signficiance of the drops.

Try KSing duty spawns.
Also, it begs the question - for Black Epsilon, do the T5 "boss" Velocity Mercenaries from the duties qualify as droppers...

I'm hoping these aren't tied to Black Suns alone. Not only is it unnecessary and promotes further camping of an already camped spawn, but it would yet again place a loot disadvantage on the Imperials for no discernable reason.

Tomo, I know you'd put your position in jeopardy if you agreed with me here, but I honestly think the Devs have the foresight of an Alzheimer's patient.

Worst part is, when I was telling them it'd be a good idea to add these as space drops as well, I did mention they had to take duty missions into account when deciding what should drop them.
I'm really hoping we see some of these elsewhere. I'm actually doing T4 Inquisition right now, so maybe a Coynite will allay my fears.

I woudlnt worry about it if it was just duty spawns.
The information is really ambiguious,
>>Level 4 armor upgrade pieces | Space | Tier 5 merc Ship in Dantooine
>>Illegal core booster | Space | Tier 4 Black Suns, Tier 5 Black Suns, Also Corsec Mission Spawn
Mercenary ships in (EDIT) dantoone.
(big edit here. FOr some reason i was thinking of DATHOMIRE, NOT dantooine. )
Black sun is self explanitory, but they will be worked. Imperials have no BS duty to begin with, so on the imp side of the house you'll have farming for helmets AND smuggler slice comps. Keep in mind not everyone reads the forums, and not everyone realizes there might be duty missions available to them. They'll just load up and go kill any BS they see.

Simple - open Imperial pilots to RSF duty missions, and Rebels for SA.
Furthermore, allow SA pilots to contract duty missions from Rebel Trainers, and RSF pilots the ability to perform duties for Imperial trainers.

A great idea to encourage JTL participation executed with all the grace of a drunken 800 pound gorilla...

I'd almost venture a guess saying that SWG's QA team is probably supremely crippled or now nonexistent.
The new QA test is probably - "Does it break the game?" "No." "Does it cripple a profession?" "Yes." (see the CH forums) "Pssh, we can fix it later, then - upload it."
I will say one thing, they're definitely recreating the Beta/Early Release bugs quite nicely for the newbies. "Total Experience" indeed.

edited prior post. It occured to me i was getting dantooine and dathomire sectors confused with one another.
EDIT:
since its dantoine and not dathomire....
QFE.

Opening up other factions' duty missions to the appropriate squads would be a pretty elegant fix. It's quite possible we just don't have a complete list of what drops these things yet, though, what with it just being introduced today.
So if anyone finds a slicing component in space, it'd be really helpful to let us know what kind of ship it came from.

I hear these have dropped of T5 gunboats in Kessel. I'm hoping to get some more confirmations soon, but that's some nice news.
