I'm referring to the "Clone Relics" such as the Jedi Starfighter and other special items. How have some of you gone about completing them?

check game guides forum, theres writeups for all the clone relic quests, and they're all soloable for the most part

My apologies. I neglected to check the name of this forum and thought it WAS the Game Guides forum. :/

But while I'm here...has anyone here any advice on completing Imperial Inquisitors missions? I'm having rather a difficult time soloing them and don't really know many people to group with. I'm on the second tier 3 mission (the string in the Dathomir system that ends with you fighting a 2-turreted Rebel spy ship and a handful of Tier 1 fighters.

I solo'd Inquisition up until the Corvette (had a lot help for that), so it's doable. But some of the Tier 3 missions can be very challenging. Just some general advice: Make sure you're using your droid commands, if you aren't already. Also, you can try hypering to another point in the same system if things get too hot (though you can't do this for escort missions, of course). Bomberstrike is very handy for the later missions when you have to take on gunboats; they take some of the fire for you.

What ship did you use for the Tier 3 missions? I was using my Interceptor, but was wondering if a Bomber would have been a better choice. I was doing fine up until that last Rebel ship with the two turrets that blew me to bits.

I've been using my bomber, because you can pack on the guns, shields, engine, and armor to make the ship a decent tank for the beating you'll receive when it gets to be 12 on 1. Just don't try to turn at full speed - 2/3 to about half throttle will get you close to your engine's cap on PYR.

I used the interceptor. I tried the bomber but it just sucked because it was too slow and was just too inefficiently outfitted at that level due to being stuck with level 7 items or lower. But the best ship now to solo any pilot profession would be the heavy novice ships. They are fast and have lots of mass.

With the ships around atm I strongly suggest a heavy TIE (craftable by a shipwright using asteroid ressources), decent speed and maneuverability with 95kish mass, I am personally very much disliking the TIE Bomber, slow sluggish bigger ships make you very easy to hit.

I'm stuck on the last Tier 3 mission for the Inquisition myself. I solo'd half the previous missions in my TIE Bomber but, the last Rebel gunboat chases it down and just eats it alive. The last go at it wasn't even funny. I'm looking for a heavy variant TIE Fighter and now I finally have a few leads to getting one. We'll see how that goes.

I've heard a lot about the new Heavy versions, but have yet to see them sold anywhere on my server. Of course, given the prices I see for the normal ships, the heavy's are probably out of my price-range anyway.

But thanks for the advice all. Has anyone taken a Jedi Starfighter up on any of these missions? How does that handle compared to the other ships?

Talk to a SW. Most heavy starter ships are selling very quickly, you can probly get one custom made if you're willing to mine the asteroid resources yourself for it, though. If you mean the heavy X, though, you wont ever see one for sale as its quest based.
