HAH!!! Try Storm Suadron! /shudder home of the 1.5hr missions. Aced it and vowed never to change squadrons after that.

/start rant :If i run one more escort mission ill drop dead.

I swear ive had escort missions in every single mission for god knows how long. i lost count. And im just getting to the last quest for tier 3.

I mean the story is cool and all but i find it annoying when they send you out to do a search and destroy mission. You complete it and then get an update "oh btw we need you to go escort this piece of^%#^ lambda shuttle that could blow you away around in circles for 5k meters"

oh and the dock animation to the lambda makes no sense. You dock on the fin!!! what am i gonna do scurry down it and knock on the window.

If it makes you feel better, Vortex isn't any better. It's damn near all escort missions, or... like you said, a S&D mission that turns into an escort. What's worse is tiers 2 and 3 were at the hidden rebel base on dant. I'm just glad that after only one 6k drive, i found out there was an easy mission from the space staion to be able to land there, but initially, i was very perturbed

and yes, docking animations are horrible. During one mission for smuggler i believe, i had to dock w/ a hutt transport, which so happened to be parked enxt to an asteroid on the side where the default docking animation takes place. WHen i tried to dock, the animation got bugged and i was stuck in space and CSR had to move me and put me back on the ground. This bug repeated 2 more tiems, and what was funny was, the old transport was still there, so i ended up w/ 3 transports just sitting there until i was finally able to dock w/ the last one successfully. turns out that part was the end of the mission too.

Heh, wish I'd known about the similarity with Vortex and Inquisition.

I Aced Inquisition several months ago. Then for kicks, made a new toon on a new server to do rebel pilot. And at random I picked...yup...Vortex.

Imp Inquisition is my third pilot tier and first Imp pilot and by far my favorite. The story is great and if you actually read it all I found that it draws me in to the missions. Having done the others, there are always escorts and they are always my least favorite. But ... meh. It's part of the game. I really enjoy the writing and intrigue built in to the story. Great job!

Inquisition was the easier (and quicker) of the Imp squads... The rebel squadrons were all fairly quick.

Really? I figured Inquisition would be the hardest of the Imp squads. The story kind of lends itself in that direction.

Black epsilon has the most gunboats and POB's in it that I can remember, and some VERY boring escorts.
Storm is just plain long-winded, although the escorts did have enough targets to keep it semi interesting.
