Thread: Ace medals for female toons

Is there any word on an ETA fix for these or at least if they can give them retroactively (as they did with katarn armour/rebel holo).
With the announcements that content is being shelved and bugs being fixed im hoping this will happen because currently im 3 times master pilot working on my 4th and the only medal i have i bought off the bazaar....

No official news, no.
If I had to guess, though, I'd say it won't be retroactive, but you'll still be able to get medals from your current trainer.

I mastered Corsec Pilot tonight. 
I was shy about space until maybe a month ago, then the bug bit and I got into it big time. Female player, female twi'lektoon, happy badge and decent jacket, a helm a twi' can wear but alas, no medal.

The two fellows I met while doing the mission, and who my friend and I grouped up with to down the vette, felt sorry for me and gave me one of their spare ones. (unlike them I wont probably drop and remaster in another pilot skill). It was the Imperial service medal, and I wore it proudly all the rest of the night, even though it was so huge it orbited around my neck, in fact it ran 'round the outside of my lekku! I looked kinda like I was wearing a barrel hoop. My guildmates had a huge laugh out of that one !!!
I'll be really sad if I can't ever get a medal of my own, that actually fits me...
but 'Yay' I got Ace anyway!

I showed a friend of mine my brand new CorSec ace jacket. He termed it the "ugliest jacket in the galaxy". And, to be honest, I agree. Compared to either the Rebel or Imperial ace jackets, that thing is hideous.

I didn't get my medal either, and since it's unlikely this bug will be fixed retroactively (I wonder if the bug itself will be ever fixed) I asked a male Master Pilot from my guild to ask the Admiral for another medal.
We female pilots can't get a medal, but male pilots can get as many as they want (from the rebel Admiral in Doaba Guerfel at least) and these are not bio-linked, so can be traded and worn by anyone.
I'd love to have my own bio-linked medal, but this is a workaround for now.

Thanks but that means redoing imp pilot which i didnt want to do.
Ahh well.
