yep they are a pretty mahoosive ship, very easy target in PvP. The PYR is nice, but I feel the GSF would be a better ship, or if you can go imp, get the RG Tie
Nice Sexy looking ship, even if it is bugged

I haven't lost in my Vaksai yet. I have several JSF markers painted on my chassis though.

I agree, awesome for PvP, I prefer 2 guns for PvE though.

the Vaksai may have the hitbox of a x-wing, but with the 150k mass (L10 engine)it can out maneuver a JSF or a-wing.

It can out manouver but not outturn them.

I've out turned both, quite easily. An 80+ PYR engine will win most turning fights. Just because the other two have higher turn rate acceleration, doen't mean they can scribe tighter circles.

Exactly... plus YPR isn't the end of the story. there is optimal turning speed range and inertia. Vaksai is very goood in both. the optimal turning speed range of a Vaksai is about 45% to 70% where an a-wing and most TIEs is about 90% so the Vaksai can turn just as fast at slower speeds thus a smaller circle. The Vaksai also has a ton of inertia but not so much that it become sloppy. When sliding around a turn or flying sideways as it is sometimes called, the more inertia of your ship the more of an angle you will get at lesser YPR. With a low 60 ypr engine my vaksai slides at about 90 degree angle. with my normal L10 crafted engine with 70+ ypr I hit the limiter somewhere past 120 degrees at 45% throttle. (with or without EO).

Whoopsie i put them the wrong way around there, it can outturn but not out manouver!

Now as i understand it you cannot go and do the vaksai/royal tie mission after getting the heavy Xwing etc if this is true can you buy the ship and use them without the badge/mission?
