Capacitor shunt to shield is your friend.

Also just disable it and then attack it from the front as the rear gun will not hit you then, I was taking out Tier 5 Agressors in Kessel as a 3333 Privateer Pilot. The most important aspect is to make sure you stay behind them judge your speed correctly, and hit the with as much firepower as you can as fast as you can. I could disable a T5 Agressor in about10 seconds at 3333, now at 4433 I can disable them inside 5 seconds.

For practice try just following one around in Kessel for a bit as you are a privateer you are safe in Kessel as they are yellow to you, once you understand the speed they travel, your mission will be easy.

The damn thing has a rear mounted gun, a pretty stong one at that. Im 3333 in freelance and i take the dantooine mission. The other ships im fine with but the agressor just takes down my front shields and armor before i can disable it, i have a fully loaded kimo at the momment and shield shunt 3 dosnt help much. Can anyone give me tips for this or grinding for my lvl in general? thanks

Need to get somewhere cheaply? I'm your man. Charter space flights. If for group hunting, it's free as long as im involved If for anything else, see me about fees(Alot cheaper than normal interplanetary transportation).

Need a job done? Need protection? Need anything? Ask!

Carbineer/ TKA/Private pilot at your service.

I take it that your doing the tier4 dutys in smugglers alliance?

Scrap that, they pretty much suck, first of all they dont produce much xp, and the bosses are agressors allthough quite fun, you need a small and fast fighter for em.

Flying around in endor is prolly the best way to go, killing T4impies and stuff.

A friend of myn launched a BS duty from the rebel trainer so we did that, alot better xp payoff.

Remeber. you lived in a time of kiwi.

I have not tried endor to lvl for a while, I pretty much just hit kessel, 20-25 mins later I have my 1 million xp (triple bonus from other masters), I use either the grievious fighter (not that found of it due to limited vis) or my Dunelizard (love this ship)

My JSF and REd level 6 guns w/ weapon OL3 running lets me take an aggie's gun from behind in a few seconds. Most shield I lose now is half (shield is 2k). Maybe just me, but it seems that the closer I am to the imp, the harder time it has hitting me. But maybe that is jsut the small frame of the JSF.

Dont get behind them, keep them head to head, their front gun is weaker. Just make sure you boost after you pass or the rear gun will get in a couple hard hits on your rear shield

1-1 as a low level pilot vs an aggie, doing the joust with them is the best option. 2-1 it's pretty much required. Do the boost just before you pass them to get to your full speed just as they pass. Aim for the gun first and then get on their 6.

I have two strategies for Aggressors:

1. Joust it. Target weapon 1, the rear turret. Go at it head on, blasting. Boost away. Do not turn until you are 1000m away. Repeat. CtSS as needed. That will keep the rear turret off of you. When the rear turret blows, get on its tail and finish the job. This is what I do if I am having an off night and strategy #2 is not working for me.

2. Just target weapon 1 and blast it like any other fighter. CtSS as needed. With your 3 blasters, you should be able to lay down some serious hurt. This is what I usually do.

How much shield energy does your shield have? If you do not have 1900 f/r, consider buying a good Mark IV shield.

Good luck.

This has worked great for me when flying lighter ships like the Vaksai and JSF/Grev.
