Thread: My Master pilot double XP bonus has stopped working o.o

Hi.
I took a week break from the game and came back to it. I'd previously done all three Rebel squadrons with my main toon, Leaph and I launched into space...So I'm blowing up ships and somthing strikes me...I'm not getting my double/triple xp bonus which is kind of odd because I was getting it last week...and well since the beginning of time..well, kinda.
So I took note of my prestige...to see how much I had, then went and blew up a T5 Gunboat in order to see if the bonus was being applied without it actually telling me onscreen [oh I checked the Combat Log too] and nope..not there. I'm not too concerned as well...prestige has little use atm apart from entering DeepSpace and I always make that little amount back up in no time at all master bonus or not..but I do feel a bit miffed, I mean..it is one of the few bonuses you get as a pilot who has done a pilot profession more than once on a single toon and you never know when prestige may carry some greater significance in the future and a multiplied xp bonus which I -should- have because I eared it fair and square would be an advantage. I'd like to know this please.
1.Anyone else been getting it? Could it be a Publish 20 issue?
2.Do you think the Devs would give it me back if I asked reealll nicely?

I dropped CorSec night before last and started storm squadron (begining the quest for the 9x ace) and I am getting the master bonus.

Would it have helped if we had acted all confused with him for a while, then, like halfway down the page, we suddenly "remembered" how it works?

I dont think I could have kept a straight face, so no. I think you're response was best. Simple declaration, nice clean wound. I, on the other hand, couldnt help being a wiseacre.

Actually, Tatooine is on my list of places to visit today. Just after Theed and Keren. I have to talk to a man in Bestine about a TIE Fighter. Shortly after I tell another man in Bestine that I'm kind of tired of my Rihkxyrk. Of course, all of these travel plans depend on the 'Vette actually showing up at some point before I get kicked offline for sitting around and doing nothing in space.

Wow...I never knew there was a difference. What gives the different kinds of xp?

You get normal XP until you make Ace. Obviously, Ace pilots have no need for actual XP, so they just get Prestige, which is completely useless outside of going to Deep Space.
