Thread: 4333 needs advice on several things...

I'm on the Bria Server:
I'd like to know:
#1) I started the missions for Kash. Station, got to the one where you rescue the Civilian Transport, and couldn't solo it. I get past the first few waves, then get ganked by 8 to 10 tier 5's. The proceed to keep me busy, and take out the Transport at their liesure while I try not to die. My ship is the ARC-170, which I have top of the line parts for my level in it. How can I solo this mission, or should I break down and just get help. (BTW, I'm a neutral pilot, Corsec, Rebel aligned in space when I got overt.)
#2) I'm also doing the Dantooine missions, the one where you have this VERY long patrol, and then kill the YT-1300 with the three or four escorts. I got past that today, and (again), got ganked by tier 5's. Another instance of where I eend to get help?
#3) I'm almost to where I can take my Vette Mission ( working on the XP now for 4444). How many should I take with me to do this in Kessel?
#4) I got some new and very nice guns and stuff for my ARC, but now I've maxxed the Mass. I'm thinking about switching to another Fighter. Any suggestions?
#5) And just to be consistent ( but without much hope !!!), does ANYONE still have the waypoints to the Y-8 escort mission? I'd like to try a workaround ( yeah, I know I'm wasting my time, but I'm a hard-headed old man, please humor me.)

I can answer 1, 2,3 and 4 with one answer. Dump the arc170. (i have not used it, but the ppl i know who use it, hate it) A good ship is the x-wing, but since you are nutral, I suggest the B-22. I have been ripping imp ships in kessel very well. And to test myself, instead of agroing one, I agroed 2 interceptors and an opressor, and took very little shield damage. It's mass is only 90k, but with the combo of parts I got, it is effective. can't remember what exact parts I have in it, but nothing too extravagent(sp?)
Unfortunatly don't know the nutral ships, so cant give suggestions there.
Can't help with #5. I only got the first part done to get the laser and cargo hold.

In terms of which ship as a privateer, depends on your flying style, if you like a lot of guns and don't mind a ship that can't turn on a dime, I liked the rihkxyrk, 3 guns, one launcher, plenty of mass... But if you prefer the small and agile style, I agree with the above poster, a B-22 should do nicely... And yes, dump the ARC
