Thread: Tie Interceptor accuracy

I recently managed to get the cert for the Tie interceptor,
however i dont seem to be able to hit anything with it, all the shots seem to glide past my target, in the Tie In I could easily take on hordes of tier 3 ships, but now a single tier 3 ship (even y-wings) takes forever to bring down.
Ive tried putting a faster firing weapon on, but no effect.
Anyone else had probelms like this?

Like the X-wing the Tie Int has awideblasterprofile and if you keep your firing distance father from your target the blaster bolts will converge to the target better. Find your sweet spot and you'll love your Tie Intercepter.

Don't worry about the damage by the way... if one of the blaster bolts hits, full damage of your gun should be applied since the Tie Interceptor does only have one gun.

Yeah, as said before, the TIE Interceptor has a wide "weapon spread". Also something to keep an eye on, is that sometimes the leading crosshairs can be a bit...off. Try shooting a bit before the crosshairs, see if you can find a better spot.

I had couldn't hit anything when I first got my TIE-int, and simply packed it up and stuck with the Bomber till almost master. I've recently unpacked my Intercepter, and tried it again since I've gotten to fly a Firespray lately (another ship with a wide firing coverage), and I have found I love the Intercepter this time around - the wider cross-section is great against Tier 5 A-wing.
