I am trying to acquire morelevel 6 capacitors and engines for an RE project. Does anyone have any advice as to what to kill in order to have a better chance of getting these?
I've been flying around killing tier 3s and tier 4s at various locations and I haven't had much luck. All I seem to get is droid interfaces...
I am currently flying for the smugglers alliance and I can kill anything but hutts. Thanks in advance for any advice that you wish to provide.

It's not the drop types that make that a good locale, its the ease of kill, spawn rate, and the fact that the tier of the ships (3) is a match for the stuff he's looking for. That means its the type of spawn most likely to drop that level. Big slow tier3 kimos in an endless supply. No ship or group drops a particularclass of component more than others, so who you kill matters less than what tier it is.

Certain ships tend to drop different things in my xp. I just thought this maybe a better spot for it. I tend to just hunt tier 3 duty missions from the dant station if im looking for lv 6 engines.

Lots of money.... lots of loot... hmmm.... definently a nice place. I'm still looking for more like it, found something similar to the lok location but with tier 4/5.
