Thread: Emporer'e Retreat, Jabba's and the abandoned Rebel Base on Dantooine.

All three of these locations have a starport you can land your ship in provided you have gone far enough in the prof. My question is once you drop the associated pilot line, can you still land at those POIs? I have a smuggler who is nearing Ace pilot and I have thought about taking him to Imperial Inquistion or RSF next. If I drop Smuggler's Alliance, will I still be able to land at Jabba's?

Nope. When you drop a pilot profession, they clear all your missions that you've done, includingany of the missions taken from space stations. So in order to land at those places you'd have to do the missions again, but you will only get them if you're in a squadron that gets the ability to land at the specific places.

My crafter was originally Inquisition and did the quests to land at the retreat. Then I dropped it and went RSF and could no longer land there. In Tier 2 I got the option to do the quest from Naboo station again. I later dropped RSF and went Corsec, but Naboo station doesn't offer the mission and I can't land at the Retreat anymore. So that's the way it worked for me. I've mastered 6 pilot professions between my 2 chars and every time I'vehad to do the station missions again (like the pickups for dantooine, the storyline missions from Yavin station that it gives before the debris cult destroy, etc).

There are no surprises for RSF like the trainer being in the Emperor's throne room, is there? I'm about to hit my 3rd Ace badge (Corsec) and move on to RSF. Smuggler's Alliance and its mandatory completion of Jabba's Themepark was a rude surprise to a double crafter. Luckily one of the Master Commandos in my guild babysat me through the entire series of missions. hehehe.

No, all of the RSF trainers are in Theed Palace. RSF just gets the ability to do the mission to land at the Retreat. Not sure why, guess its because they're aligned with the Empire, but they don't actually have any trainers there or any real reason to go there (unless you just want to hehe).

Oh, thank goodness! After dropping Master Rifleman, I got incapped by butterflies and durnis. The rasps are especially vicious since they aggro you. *shudder*

I used to be able to land at all 3, but now I am not able to land at the Emperor's Retreat

How? I'm tat neutral and can land at Jabba. But despite being rebel on ground, I can't get the rebel space station to give me the mission to land at the abandoned rebel base on Dant. (This was pre-patch, perhaps if I stop being on leave???)
My alt Cadfael, being a reb pilot, got the mission and can land at the base. But being neutral on the ground (pre-patch) he was barred from entering the base itself. Perhaps after the patch he can.
