I just discovered that I, as a freelance pilot can't go overt in space anymore... No more space PVP for me?
What's up? I want to still be able to be an overt rebel even though i'm neutral in space!

Before this publish, I could just drive up to a rebel space station and go overt, but now the guy at the station tells me to sign up with the rebellion first? I am a member of the rebel ground forces, but I picked freelance since the Nova is so friggin ugly, I wanted my YT-1300... Waah waah waah... Seriously, this is really disapointing!

Allow freelance pilots to be overt in space!

I went overt in Dantooine system today and fired up a newb in a low-tier TIE who was farming tier 2 Rebs. I would have killed him on the fourth shot, but he was already at the end of his hyperjump warm up and jumped as I fired the killing shot.

I went on to pick up 600 Reb faction.

Are you going to the alliance space station 1 or 2 or are you talking to the rebel deep space station in dantooine?

To use the deep space rebel station, you have to 1. declare at an alliance station...then 2. talk to the deep space station.

and yes I am a privateer and this has always worked for me.

Are you RSF? I have a suspicion that RSF pilots won't be allowed to declare reb - but I've not been RSF yet, so I can't say for sure.

I'm a smuggler alliance pilot, i went to dantooine to a "normal" rebel space station, the ones that ... wait a minute, dantooine has the rebel space space station to deepspace there right? If that's what i tried to declare at, i'm terribly embarrased right now >_<
