.Now that i've done all the imperial squadrons I can confirm that Storm squadron is the toughest grind. Its no more challenging than Inquist, but there are so many long escorts that it really tests your will to keep playing. There was one mission, tier3 or 4 that had 3 escorts in it for a total of 75 mins of boredom. On more than one mission you have 2 long escorts and a gunboat to fight at the end. BTW, freelance squadrons are a joke.

well I have tried it numerous times, either by myself or with 1 to 2 other people and still have problems. When I did it with 2 friends finished the mission but never go the mission success message

No need to be snotty about easier squads, that's just childish.

the smugglar squadron is a joke until you get the 2 hours long escort missions that you have to do 2 of them :/. so boring. but the after doing teh rebel missions it made neutral missions look so hard. the only one i had problems on for rebel was the last tier 4 in the havok squad. just cuz i didn't have my y-wing/x-wing fully decked out. but it would have been a cake walk.
and rebel escort missions only last 20 minutes. and you dont even have to take out any of the fighters. they hyper out that fast. it was kinda disappointing.

I myself am having problems with SS tier 4 mission 4 have to destroy 2 transports and escorts than have to disable a transport and destroy its escorts, then u have a big battle with like 12 Rebel ships and 2 gunboats. I need any advice I can get. Or help on starsider server

i hear ya, keeramak. i'm on that same mission, and i can get through everything fine, but once i get to those 2 gunboats they rip me apart. then again, i've only tried this mission a couple of times, and i'm sure i could pull it off. but once those gunboats agro, it's over. i'll probably end up completely decking out my bomber and trying it again, using bstrike2 and try to get a guildmate or 2 to help. i've soloed up to this point on SS, and i'm convinced i could do this solo, but eh, i really don't care that much about doing it solo. i like flying with others.

Rebel squadrons are even more of a joke...

did all my tier4 missions last night with an ace, just us 2 took down every mission. now im waiting for him to log on so i can do the vette, then cruise in my firespray. yeah storm is HARD. but, i had an ace, and we did great. the gunboats were no trouble for him, nor the nova's.

yeah, i'm in the process of doing storm squadron...it's very tough...and long. i'm on the tier 4 exit mission, and it starts out with 2 very long escort missions, probably close to an hour a piece, then i had to attack 2 tier 4 gunboats and an escort of about 12 fighters...after escorting for 2 hours then running into that and dying...well, it's a little discouraging. i'm taking a guildmate with me next time.
