Thread: Can Ithorians loot the Black Sun Ace Helmet?

I just finished my fifth black sun duty mission, from beginning to end; and no helmet. I was wondering, one...if any Ithorian characters have looted this helmet, and two, do species restrictions apply for looting it? The reason I ask, is on other missions, I have been unable to loot the reward, since I was Ithorian. I did the Zixc bug bomb mission, but could never get my +25 disease coveralls, and never got my rebel flightsuit from my pilot trainer; not to mention, I have an Ithorian only bandolier. Just wondering....

75 million prestige, 75% of it gained on Tier 4/5 black suns, no helmet yet.

I live in Space, have made in the excess of...geez, how many Blacksun have I shot down? I couldn't count. Total number of Blacksun helmets looted by Leaph = 0

I am the same as you peeps .... 1 gabillion Black Suns and no helmets. Their Logistics people must suck... I mean come on - shouldnt every pilot have a helmet? =P Maybe the problem is us... maybe we have too much gun for our own good and are vaporizing the helmet!!! lol

he he, i got mine just doing the BS duitys to grind the last bit of EXP for my last tier 4 box

Looted one the other day with my Ithorian, we just can't wear it. Like we can't wear our Master Pilot coat or Master Pilot Helmet.

I got one after killing about 3500 black sun. I think that's probably pretty close to average. You may get lucky though.

I hope you're not serious, those are a p.i.t.a. Plus, my guild mate got one after only 4 kills, life isn't fair.
He's very serious. I was one of the first master pilots on my server and I've been hunting the Black Sun Ace helm since Dec 2004 and after over 60 million prestige points, mostly Black Sun kills, and I've got nothing.
Still I have two friends who got theirs after one mission.
So who knows, for me it is a long hunt. I've pretty much given up on it. I think my chance of getting one is about the same as me living to see the Smuggler Revamp we were promised back in September 2003.
