I'm a freelance pilot and I joined the squard in Theed. Can someone tell me if I need to grind all that xp for the master box or if I just have to do a mission like Imperial Pilot Ace?

Nope. Just do the mission like any other Ace box and you're done.

Also, reading the pilot FAQ will answer these questions for you, plus give you a lot of other great info

Ok I'm pretty sure I completed all the quests for teir 4..why is the last trainer still giving me duty missions and not the master box mission?

You need to visit the admiral in either theed palace (for imperial) or duaba garfeel hotel (for rebel) to get your ace mission.
Ace mission is the only mission the require's you to choose a side.

Not true, if you see the original post, he joined NSF, so he HAS to do the Imp side.
Only Corsec gets to choose.

He won't talk to me...anyone know why? Maybe it's becuase I'm neutral...

Another thing to check is if you have a space mission in your datapad, if you do try deleting/ending the mission with the radial in the datapad.
