Is there any other use for prestige points other than gettign into deep space???



Are there any benefits you recieve for goign to deep space to pvp other than the loot drops off other npc ships?

None, and no plans have been revealed to make them worth anything else.

One would think it would have been easier spending points to get the new ships rather than doing bugged quests.

Nope, before Rage came out there was talk that Perestige would be used for new ships, parts and the like. However with the new 'quests' I don't think you'll see Perestige used for anything.
