With all these nice new POB parts does the Bwing now become the POB killer of starfighters. 4 big guns up front and 2 missle tubes can realy do some dammage. Has anyone tryed it yet?

The B-wing has short comings that can't be ignored. First off it has terrible acceleration, and a heavily reduced YPR. The guns can deliver a heavy amount of damage, however the slow manouvering combined with large hitbox make it a sitting duck even for POB gunners. I'm sure plenty of pilots will tell you that the B-wing can be used to good effect, it can. The only problem is there are better ships for every role. The only thing I find the B-wing usefull for is mining
I'd say see for yourself though. B-wing's are cheap on most servers. First hand knowledge is worth 100 opinions

My twin L8-equipped JSF does an average of 24,000 DPS - I'd prefer it over a huge diagonal target.

What you can't hit you can't kill. Fast, small and deadly will pretty much win over slow, large but massive firepower.
Interesting loadout. Didn't see the loadout in your sig. Care to share?

It's up at Spaceloot.com / Ship Registry / Phoenix Type-ExDam.

Raja, you might do people a favor if you program it to essentially show WO3 as being fixed. People KNOW what works now - maybe it'll be a more educational tool if people saw what was possible on their frame.
