Thread: Any tips with the new rotw Space mining missions

im really struggling in my Tie fighter, ive now got a mission to get some cargo from a space ship,use the tractor beam, and it doesnt seem to get any cargo, also after a few minutes i get blown up by a hord of other ships, and cannot return fire, as it takes up my weapon slot, this missions really hard, any tips. i suppose i need a Y-8 Mining vessel, but no ones selling them yet.

Move to less then 50 the number disappears at 50. Do not hold the tractor beam on all the time do it in bursts. my first try I held trigger down on tractor beam and ship blow up before I extracted anything was 60+ away from it.
As for the 1 weapon slot go freelance or rebel for ships with 3 weapons or use tie bomber which has 2 weapons but also has 2 ml's.

Mission did not work for a friend of mine becasue we were Grouped, btw.
