This ship is actully buildable by shipwrights. I had one built a couple days ago but I cant think of the mass off the top of my head but the mass of this ship and the other ships are located in a stickie at the top of this boards.

Haven't crafted it yet, bur from the reports it's a regular novice privateer ship with a greatly increased mass (95K).

It is the same as regular Scyk style 1 with 95-96k mass. I made one last night, mine came out to 96.3k mass. Sick maneuverability, very hard to control at first. I'm looking forward to PVPing in it.

I tried it out in PVE last night, and found that I missed the extra weapon slot on my Dunelizard. The Syck is hard to control at first, its turning is very 'whippy' and I couldn't get a good line on my targets. After one mission I went back to my Dunelizard.

They both have the same speed modifer (0.95) but think the Syck has better PYR acceleration.

I think it will be ideal for PVP, but I'm still working on Mastering.

I spoke to my guild SW last night and he told me it needs some RotW resources..... Can anyone explain?

You need about the same resources as a tier III ship AND 1K of Iron Asteroid and 1K of Petrochemical Asteroid to craft the heavy novice ships.

I agree that privateers have good ships for leveling. The best heavy ship of the batch is the Z-95, that is like an A-wing with slightly less speed but more PYR acceleration and more mass.

hrm... ive only been master shipwright for about 2 weeks and hadnt really played much since i mastered, but am i missing something? the heavy mass xwing and tie show up in my list on the ship crafting tool but the heavy mass scyk does not? do i have to do a quest or something to unlock this chassis? or am i just bugged ?

It is under MISC right now, listed as Hutt Light fighter.

thanx ill log in and look thought i was bugged or something because it wasnt listed with the other two scyk's hehe
