Thread: Kessel Factional Issue

I am a CorSec pilot working on my "Kill 30 TIEs mission". Rebel ground faction as well. The tier 4 CorSec trainer sent me to Admiral Wilhelm Burke who is Rebel to kill the Imperial fighters.

When I go to Kessel - Rebels con red to me. And I can't attack Imperials.

This is when I was ground on leave. Okay. So I try to Rebel declare at a Space Station. Rebel station won't talk to me because it says I am on a quest.

So I go combatant on the ground and relaunch - same business.

So I decide to leave the Rebel faction and go neutral. Delete the quest. Go back to the Admiral who wants me to relay failed mission, etc.

Re-obtain quest.

As a neutral, I can attack both Rebel and Imperial ships in regular zones. However in Kessel I am still stuck only being able to kill Rebels. Imperials con white.

I am going through all the piloting branches, doing them all for kicks. This is one of the last. I've switched factions many times (Smuggler, what can I say).

Has anyone heard of or experience this before?

Isn't that normally a by-product of going into DS as a freelancer?

Ah yes the freelance faction issue again. Not sure if this was ever fixed and has resurfaced but it is a known bug. Try removing all you equipent from your ship and redeeding it then regenerate it and put your equiment back on then try again. Apparently when you declare for a faction it doesn't reset when you land like it should.
