Going for a measly level 8 isn't really a good use of the amazing mass this thing has, imo. Others may disagree, but the engine is one of the first things I make sure I get right. Try and go with OL4 too - the energy drain is a shock at first, but if you work around it it pays off extremely well.

Weapon 1 is good, and Weapon 2 is still decent. But weapon 3 dosen't appear to have been RE'd with a reward gun - this impacts on it's damage and Energy/shot.

Shield's alright, could perhaps shave a few K mass off, but it's still good. I use a heavier one because i'm lazy .

Nice big capacitor, good for shunting. Good call on using OL4 there, too.

It appears you are not using Reactor Overload. Any reason?

Also, try and get a pre-nerf DI. Very light, nearly as fast as what you currently have.

A solid ship, still room for improvement. Extremely good start though - it only needs a bit of work here and there to be a force to be reckoned with

thank you for the input

the 3rd gun is not a reward re job. only had 3. was wondering ot put in the imp reward L7 gun whit max damage 2900 to get some mass feed up. i have 2 other reward shields on hold, so im looking for a better mass on to re it whit.
im in the prosess of making a better engine, i have done the nym starmap 2 times adn got only crap from him, so i have a looong way to go to get a good engine.
i have non of the great pre-nerf DI and have never seen ony for sale

i dont use the reactor overload bacouse every thing seems to be disabled when i use 4 over loaders!
might be becouse i should start whit the reactor over load when i think of it....

You already have enough power to run EO4, just make sure you run RO4 FIRST. If you come out of Deep Space and everything is disabled, run /eshields to reset everything.

If you need the mass for something, consider using a slower and lighter droid interface. A Mark III crafted is about 18 speed and 2600 mass. A Mark IV crafted is about 15 speed for 5600 mass. If you went to a Mark III crafted DI, you're pretty close to shoehorning in a L10 REd weapon or engine...

hmm, some good points there. will have to look for some crafted ones then. guess my armor can get alot better too.
i dont have a booster and i dont miss it in pve, so i might keep having it out. but i want to have a space bomb2 in it. need 14k mass freed for that.
might get that if i change to a lvl 7 gun at gunslot 3 and change the DI.
lots of space grinding in front of me. good is that, couse swg2 ground isnt that interesting anymore

You have a good start here. For another idea on how to setup this ship check out my ship at SpaceLoot.com. Look on the Chilastra server and look look at the Advanced Xwings. I think mine is the only one listed for the Chily server. Name on the ship is RASP 4x.

I've RE'ed all my own gear for that one. I'm still working on this ship. I would like to sqeeze in 2 LvL8 weapons and the 1 LvL10 but might end up with 3 LvL8's so I can run WO4 eventually (if/when they fix WO3). This is alway's a work in progress but it is getting pretty close...

If you outfit a 90k mass ship check out my B22 (RASP 4b). I can go against RGI's and last pretty well with that ship...... or at least I was able to hit Fuss a few times before he killed me.....6 times...... but I wasn't using missiles....hehehe....

The ship that is becoming my favorite PvP ship when groups are involved is the Awing (RASP 4a). Cool ship, whish I would have given it a chance before now.......

Have to say, if I get the right level 8 engine set up ill be replacing my lvl10 with it in my Advanced Xwing, it will allow me to mount reward shields, 1300 armour f/b and a lvl 9/9/7 set of REed guns plus a mark 3 proton and all the other bells and whistles. At the mo I suffice with a lvl 9/9/5 gun set up, but, I hate swopping the engine between my X and Ywing. Plus, itll save me 20k mass, i can put better armoured bells and whistles in. And sometimes in PvP that turn rate of my Xwing makes me sick with the lvl 10 engine!

Yes, that X-wing is pure evil. Especially when I'm trying to farm deep space for upper level components to outfit my own gankmobile properly.
