I'm currently 3333 smugglers alliance.
I tend to either use my dunelizard or a kimogila - depends on my mood tbh.
Does anyone have any thoughts on a good loadout for these ships?
I'll admit i'm not the best pilot or even remotely knowledgeable about such things so any help on getting a good hard killer loadout would be appreciated.

Had a look at spaceloot and i really can't get my head around the information that is given. It's all very nice, but it makes my head spin tbh.

check the ship registry, i dont know for sure if they the exact ships you want but if can give you a good idea

Interesting, looks like you get a nice boost using the RO programs, i'll have to drop down a reactor size and pump it up with RO2 or RO3, might be able to add a better second gun then, sweet

the programs i use are reactor, emgine, cap, weapon over load 3(on all) and cap to shield shunt 4. they help out tons

If you're really not sure, you need to expirament. Have fun with ships. In general, try this- start with a level 6 engine, and 7ish guns. Balance in a shield, and the usual low level 1 or 2 reactor/cap/booster. If you find it's too slow or doesn't handle well enough, squeeze in a level 8 engine.If you want bigger guns drop your shield a bit and squeeze in a level 8.
There's no one way to set up a ship, other than imitating a setup posted here or on Spaceloot. Just play around, that's half the fun. Study other setups, learn what works for you.
