Saw some screens of this engine, looks like something i could use. Is it a quest reward or is it just a random drop?

Note: stats are random, you could get one with a much loswer speed than what you saw.

Hi I been keeping this engine for sometime now waiting for RE. I was wondering how high PYR will you be able to get from looted parts? is it possible to hit 80 post-RE?

My Ion drive speed is at 96.2.

Please post whats the highest PYR you ever looted for a level 8 engines.

I know there is a link about looted stuff in the pilot forum but I'm posting this to compile the highest PYR someone gets for RE purposes.

Best you're going to do for level 8 looted engines is 70-75 PYR.

The level 8 engines that I have looted lately are all garbage with YPR topping out at 69. I am really hoping there hasn't been a silent "YPR" nerf. The leve 6 engines aren't lookin too hot either.

I agree with that observation. I had RE'd a Reward level 8 engine several months ago and had PYRs in the 71-74 range to RE with it at that time. Now that I have my Quatum Ion Drive StarMap Quest engine with a 98.3 speed I'm having great difficulty finding PYRs in the 70s at all. The best I do have is in the low 70-71 range and I believe those to be left over "seconds" from my previous inventory. Have not recently looted any level 8s with PYRs in the 70s for some time now.

I can also second this. In about the last week ive pulled in about 20 level 8 engines and not ONE had YPR over 70. 69.8 was the highest they got. I actually didnt find any with any stat considered decent. Mass RED and speed were all pretty poor.

highest i have looted in the last month is 71.4 pyr

You cant nerf me any more I already have a CL 90 Jedi and Commando.

Now I need to find a high Pitch engine
