this droid interface good ?

Level 10 Ship certification

armor 806/6 / 806.6

mass : 23K

droid speed 10.0

reverse engineering level : 10

if i get that RE'd , will that get a lower mass ? it uses up alot of mass so, if i get it RE'd the mass should go down alot with the RE level of 10 ans speed should get better too.

That is aLOT of mass. Maybe good for a POB ship, not sure how high crafted DI's get. Would not stick that on any starfighter, as you can get 13ish on a much much lower mass DI and that's more than enough for a fighter.

That's good for a heavy fighter, if you can spare that kinda mass. Its possible to get it lower, you'll have to be selective with your loots in the RE combine to get the best result, but that droid speed, if you can get it into a lighter form, is awesome. Its within a couple decimal points of the best possible droid speeds in the game.

RE'd, that should return a final Droid Command Speed of at least 9.1.

Crafted Type V Droid Interfaces are not quite that fast, my best at 90%+ experimentation was a 12.1. I'll check the mass tonight. There are level 10 DI's with crap speedstats, but decent mass, its possible an RE job could make that number drop substantially.

If you could get that down to around 10k mass, I'd consider using one, as my crafted 13 is around 6.5k mass I think, otherwise, I just don't see the *need* to be that fast. Right now, shunt recycles faster than my capacitor recharges.

There are also L10 DIs with better speed. I think I have one in storage somewhere that is <9.5 pre RE.
