I was wondering if the Nym's Starmap Quest can still be farmed with a CL1 char, or if he would never get to the corpse in the Nightspider Cult Cave (for the QID) due to the new NPC AI.
has anyone tried?

Haven't tried yet, but will be in about 10 hours time, I'll let you know... Probably depends how you did it in the first place, I use my CL80 main to run distraction, so it's more if he survives the run to the pile of bones

I always skirted the walls in my runs (except when that WASN'T the ideal path), but last time I ran it was pre-P24.
Think positively, though...even if this is nigh impossible now - everyone'll STILL be drowning in as much Fibertech plates and Protecto-nets as they can stomach.

Right now if you have some proper cordination, it's able to be pulled off. However, I'm running with someone ATM and we hit a huge brick wall (we were able to get JUST outside the corpse room once).
ATM I'm revising the guide with some proper food recipes (experimenting with thundercloud, Vegeparsine, spices, etc.). and we'll see if that will work than
.
if you have the Rez Arm (and some luck...because the AI seem to randomly deathblow instead of incap). You should be able to successfully make it to the spider room with: Synthsteak, Vercupti, Muon, and Brandy. It's tough as hell, but it's able to be pulled off (we could have successfully finished if I had one on my character).

Welll.. I must say that it is tough. It took me 4 runs to do. And on the last run I had 3 jedi with me.
First run I did it on my own, trying the burst running. But was quickly cut down. Second run I had a lvl 75 melee/CM.. not sure what his melee was though.. and we both got cut down. Third run I had 2 Jedi with me. We had made it to the big room before the little offshoot before I died. But I had tried burst running from that point and I got one hit killed. Fourth run, we took our time and worked our way down. Ended up killing the Kim-Jae(sp) whatever guy at hte bottom for the badge.
The character I did it on is a CL 23 with rifleman 1200 something.. can't remember. But the AI has made it a lot tougher. Those NPC's in the cave were using Force Aura and Valor, Force Speed, Armor break, choke, and some heavy duty hits. The jedi I was with was having a hard time with them on their own and even died a couple times.
Right now i'd say QID's are going to be a lot harder to get now. Which could be both good and bad I suppose. But damm, i just wasted all night trying to get my QID, and all I got was 67/67/66 pyr and a 90.4 speed. /shrug Just not my night.

Looks like burst run tactic will be easier with the health crystal. Gonna try that.

What kind of armor can a CL1 wear, if any?
Milk Bone Flavored Underwear(tm) since those Spider Clanners will eat him alive.

i tried it yesturday, i'm lvl 72 got cut down pretty quickly, my whole screen was covered in +choke+ +choke+ and there was lightining flying everywhere... when the devs said NPC's would use force powers they meant it.

I'd take a jedi who can cloak, let them run around and gather up as much agro as possible, then follow at about 10-15m behind and burstrun as soon as there's a clear path. Take a few Dath camo kits too, can stop the spiders getting agro on ya.

Also you can no longer use the corpse while dead. So yea this mission got a whole lot more difficult.
