Thread: Couple of Ideas for space expansions
5) Space ranks/FP. After all, we are in the Navy too 
I'd like to be able to spend FP on stuff in space. On the ground, you get underlings. Why can't I get a wingman with enough FP? Let me earn Navy rank too, not just army. I can spend my FP either on the ground OR in space. On various perks, say a special weapon/shield/engine/etc or on a wingman, or (get ready..........wait for it............) a capital ship(space base). Place them like faction bases on the ground. In order to get a perk, you'd have to fly to a faction space station, just like you'd have to talk to your ground recruiter.
oh, and +1 for the space stations that we can walk around in. maybe a space station city with rentable rooms? you know, a REAL hotel instead of those on the ground?
I love this. I have always considered myself moreImperial Naval personnel than Imperial Army. I would much rather wear the tag Commander, Commodore, Squadron Leader, etc than Colonel. Also, worthwhile faction perks for your ship and/or Naval Uniforms would be great. I love the jodphurs look. (Those are the pants on some of the Imperial NPC's that puff out at the sides of the thighs...)

-Space bounties for BH pilots.....make bounty hunters able to target the jedi of their mish in space too. Have seeker droids function in space.
-Smuggler missions for......smugglers.
-Tier 5 factional duty missions. I want cash and faction points. Give them decent loot drops too.
-Space cantinas.....space npc cities.....space player cities.

On a more serious note, this is why I have been grinding FP to get the title Captain. I'm a couple thousand away now, and once I get it I plan to never be promoted again.
You can sail the seven seas...or erm in this case the however many systems... 
But yeh, nice ideas.
Space bounties in particular would be cool.

Planetaryatmo flight, not even connected to the ground game...just let me vape womp rats in beggars canyon and fly patrols over Theed. Actually, Bespin would be awesome for dogfighting.

Nice idea.
In fact..an expansion which eradicates loading screens and makes space to ground travel doable manually would be awesome..but I'm fairly sure thats impossible. Would be snazzy though .

Kessel run, Lando's folly (asteroid field endurance course)
stations that could act like a city or something would be cool but dont know how viable that is
