Thread: how do u get to see Beissa?
Thanks for the offer to help, but I am on Lowca. I am very disappointed that it seems crafters are being punished for being a crafter
What is the point of being a droid eng and shipwright if I can't enjoy being a pilot too....?
Thanks anyhow.

Etema is a dancer/ID/muscian as you see by the sig. A friend helped me through the quest. I just picked up rifles so I could go prone and hit the target just once. Here's a great hint: when you have the escort missions, you don't have to wait for them and drag them along behind you. Just drive fast back to the palace and miraculously they are right behind you. This saves tons of time.
Also, watch out for the krayt spawns around there.
Another cool part about the jabba missions is that you don't have to worry about xp. You train as you complete missions.
It's really worth it. Go for it. ![]()
I hate people that jump in and say the TP is required.
Please look in the Pilot FAQ for details on the Space method to get access to the Throne Room.
I will say that at 2/2/2/2 you are beyond the point where you can get the mission, but I'll give you the same recommendation I've given others:
Equip a Dune Lizard ship with the best L4-5 gear you can. Surrender Freelance pilot without redeeding the ship. Re join the Smuggler's Alliance and do the first 4 missions in a starter ship (you can ask for a new one). When you are granted your first skillbox, take the ships one. Then you can fly the Dune Lizard with advanced gear (the game doesnt check if you leave it in the ship), and catching back up is a breeze. You get to stay in space instead of pound ground, you get extra flight time to practice. You get to do a neat mission for Throne Room Access (dont forget to do it BEFORE 2222 this time) and you get an extra Bandolier, you get an extra L4 reward Booster (very nice once it's REd), and you get the chance to get more good space loots for your future as a pilot.
Think about it. ![]()
If you've never done it before and you have the skillpoints to spare for minimal combat skills and a willing friend, I guess its worth wastingan hour or two on, but personally I find the theme parks pretty boring.Watching someone else do mine for me would be even more boring to me.

So you mean to tell me this is a bug in the game, they know about it and it isn't getting fixed? Does anyone care about quality control in Sony - man I would be gettinga pink slip soon if my attitude was like this in my job. Are the Sony excutives aware of this since this is one of their products?
So basically my options are:
1) Get someone to do the theme park mission for me, and waste an hour of their time because of a bug.
2) Drop all my many hours of work to get where I am right now and start over...
If this is the case, then screw this game - it stinks.

Sheesh man, chill.
You obviously need a hug.

Besides not everyone likes to race through the game. Some of us enjoy the ride. Not everyone's playstyle is the same. It's okay to choose a different route. Who knows, he may decide to become a FS crafter and the TP badge would help him on his way.
I am thoroughly chilled, it's just the people who try to answer mission questions about Pilot often mislead someone.
I'm all for sightseeing and taking alternate paths, but the second poster closed off the choice for the original poster because of his lack of knowledge, now didn't he?
I use the word hate, simply because this question comes up a lot between here and the JtL forum, and even though the answer is in the FAQ, someone without specific knowledge always loves to chime in that the theme park is needed. It gets old. Answering a question for people over and over because they didn't read the FAQ gets old too, but I mind that less than having to answer the question and correct someone else's misinformation at the same time.

Yes they are aware of this bug, Ive been shoving it down their throats since the mission was added.
as for #2, don't think of it as throwing it all away. That's why I was trying to point out all the advantages. It will take you much much much less time the second time, and you stand to even more good stick time and experience, as well as loot. Instead of sticking to 100xp tier1 fighters, in the ship you'd have you could easily do your grinding against 1600x tier3s. Missions will go faster, and you will get a great feeling of confidence, because in truth, re doing some missions again gives you a graphic example of how much you've improved.
Well, I guess I am going to have to drop all my skills and start over, but I will keep my dunelizard fully equipped. I do wish SOE would fix their bugs before they introduced new stuff, to me the game would be much more enjoyable if bugs were rare, but the fact that this bug must be in a FAQ is astounding, since it seems SOE doesn't really care, or they would fix it. I guess one must read all about every bug that might appear before you play the game... if I sounda little ticked it's because I am. I play to enjoy the game, not try and solve bug puzzles and because I am usually a casual player, this BUG will set me back a few days at the least - all the running around, etc... I should get free play time... :-) to make up for it.
Thanks to everyone who offered advice, I am sure you find the bugs frustrating too.
