I was curious about what could be done with a bugged ship in Kessel, when it's bugged to the opposite faction of your own, so I decided to go test it. I was true neutral on the ground and Master Pilot, so went to DS as Imp, then took up Rebel (by taking a Rebel pilot squadron, dropping, and moving on to my third Freelance squadron) and just now tried out declaring as Rebel and going to Kessel in my bugged-as-Imp Dunelizard. Result: dead B-Wing, and 58 Imp FP (and 115 Rebel FP lost, but it was for a good cause). I've been wanting to see what would happen if you did that for a while now...

Yes, actually ... I tend not to just use one name for all characters.

To unbug the sticking faction on your ship. Remove parts, redeed chassis. This will make your ship "neutral" again.

I didn't need to unbug my ship, I bugged it deliberately while neutral and took up the opposite faction, then went to Kessel overt in it. I just wanted to let people know what happened when I did...

Heh...try helping some one out level in the opposite faction by having them as a turret gunner. Declare at a station then go to kessel. You would believe how inventive some one can get cussing you out.
