A person in-game contacted me about future release notes of the TOW expansion pack, and said there will be some kind of satellites to automatically space mine for you? Is this just to ruffle my feathers or is this actually true? Unless you provide a source of evidence, I will consider it speculation. I would like to know if this is true since my guild doesn't know. Thanks.

Here are the "lastest" release notes that I can find.
In the third Star Wars Galaxies™ expansion, Trials of Obi-Wan™, journey with your friends to the dark and dangerous planet of Mustafar, scene of the final battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan in the Episode III: Revenge of the Sith™ movie. In this episode you will embark on all new quests, guided by Obi-Wan, and can uncover and control the lost powers and relics of the Old Republic.
Jump into exciting questing adventure that leads you through a harsh and desolate landscape covered with smoke and smoldering lava, unlike anything ever before seen in the galaxy - where only the strong of mind and body will survive. Along the way uncover and explore ancient and mysterious structures from a massive mining facility to an ancient buried starship. Fight fierce and exotic new creatures, battle against new enemies as well as some from the past and discover what lies below the roiling lava. Interact with iconic characters never before seen in-game such as Obi-Wan Kenobi and the infamous HK-47 from the award-winning Star WarsTM: Knights of the Old Republic™. Determined adventurers can seek their fortune by uncovering the lost secrets of the Old Republic and inherit the powers that lie within or die trying. Discover the lost legacy of the ancient Jedi Order and help Obi-Wan bring Order to the Force on Mustafar. Great challenges and rewards await those who choose to embark upon the Trials of Obi-Wan.

I would call it speculation for now.
Interesting speculation, though. Not necessarily a *bad* thing *if* they put some requirements on it--for example, only useable from a Y-8, and you *have* to be present for the mining to work. Otherwise, I'm afraid we'd see the mass ground-clutter of harvesters taking up precious volume in space.

Good, just speculation. I wouldn't mind either if we had 1 droid helping my y-8s as we mine

Great another capital idea.
What I mean by capital is Capital Ships.
We can hope but is it gonna happen soon?
Unlikely.

No mention of new Droids or content for the DE. However Jedi is mentioned alot for it not being Jedi expansion. Would love to have to get to my MDE and have them make a Few miner droids. Sort of like the Survey droids. Do they even still have those.

Miner droids? No. But I really like the cool battle droids y'all get to fight. Wish we could build them.

The technology to build these was lost about 4 thousand years ago with the Ebon Hawk. (A little off topic...) I origanally wanted to be a DE, but i got really frustrated with it when i saw droideka on Lok. My hat off to you sir for your dedication.
