Thread: True Neutral? Too much bad info. Please clarify.

I want the ability to switch sides whenever I want. I did SA and am 4333. Now I hear that I made wrong choice. Should have done Corsec. Is Corsec more neutral than SA. If so is it true that I can pack my heavy Scyk up with all my level 7 equip...drop SA and use my Scyk to regrind Corsec with all my high level equip. I was told that when you attemp to lauch the system only check to se if your qual'd for the ship, not the equipment.

Smugglers' Alliance is basically just as neutral as CorSec. You're able to kill both Rebels and Imperials, and if you're neutral on the ground, you'll be able to declare for either side in Deep Space. If you have a ground faction, you'll only be able to declare for that side, but that would be the case no matter which privateer squadron you were with.

I've heard that Corsec lets you do master mission with no probs, but Imp ground makes it harder to do SA master mission. Any truth to that. Also, what about the truth about resigning SA and regrinding Corsec with heav Scyk load with t4 euipment? Anyone know about that?

The only reason being an Imp on the ground would make SA harder is a social aspect, not a technical one. If you're an imperial, you're more likely to know and associate with other imperials, and when you are forced to do the master mission for SA and kill imperial ships, then it might be harder for you to find helpers. Since there is a great number of pickup corvette groups on most servers, this rarely presents a serious problem.
